BASEL, Switzerland (AP) — Argentina international goalkeeper Franco Costanzo is leaving Swiss champion FC Basel at the end of the season after failing to reach a deal for a new contract.
Basel says in a statement there are no bad feelings between the club and the 30-year-old Costanzo, who the club says turned down a five-year deal last season.
